Science & Origin

Morganite is a beryllium silicate and gets its colour from manganese, lithium, and caesium. This gemstone usually grows as small deposits forming tabular shapes or cavities with gems like feldspar, tourmaline, granite, pegmatite, apatite, and quartz. Deposits of this stone have been found in Brazil, China, Madagascar, Mozambique, and the United States.
